Really enjoyed, meals good had the sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce very lean steak. Good selection of drinks. Would recommend.
The food and service is very good. 2for1 meals are available at this pub and refills on soft drinks making this place amazing value for money. Parking is easy and the decor is nice. I would definitely recommend this place for family's or couples or groups of friends looking for value for money.
Christmas lunch. 3pm sitting and first course didn't arrive until 4:05pm. Second course arrived at 4:55pm, food warm-cold, roast potatoes only had a passing nod to the oven and rock hard. Didn't bother with third course, demanded a full refund which we eventually got. Not alone, most diners complained. Ruined Christmas Day as this meal is the only time in the year we see some of the family. I cannot give zero stars so the one is for the refund.
It can get busy but we didn't need to book beforehand. The food was lovely and the staff very helpful but very busy. They need more staff and it would be great
Table service has stopped, food generally good but they do often forget parts of the meal. Tonight the peppercorn sauce was missing of one meal and the onion rings missing from the other. Wouldn't mind it was quite. Still would go back as cheap and cheerful
